| This topic will address the value of an organizational approach to workplace violence prevention as the ultimate goal. Instead of mounting costly legal defenses in the aftermath consideration will focus on presenting thoughtful but logical business-security related defensible options to provide for a safe and secure workplace NOW. Discussion will include the OSHA Duty to Warn Clause pertaining to providing for safe workplaces free of recognizable hazards in avoiding serious injuries and fatalities. In essence the webinar will address the need to apply a comprehensive approach in avoiding the allegations of negligence through preparation. OSHA’s Enforcement Guidance can intensify interest in citing Employers who don’t resolve known hazards.
