Felix P. Nater, CSC, Nater Associates, Ltd. is delivering a webinar entitled Workplace Violence Prevention – Prevention is the Ultimate Goal sponsored by Training LLC to be delivered on September 16, 2020.

This topic will address the value of an organizational approach to workplace violence prevention as the ultimate goal. Instead of mounting costly legal defenses in the aftermath consideration will focus on presenting thoughtful but logical business-security related defensible options to provide for a safe and secure workplace NOW. Discussion will include the OSHA Duty to Warn Clause pertaining to providing for safe workplaces free of recognizable hazards in avoiding serious injuries and fatalities. In essence the webinar will address the need to apply a comprehensive approach in avoiding the allegations of negligence through preparation. OSHA’s Enforcement Guidance can intensify interest in citing Employers who don’t resolve known hazards.   In order to move forward we must understand the positives and negatives of developing suitable policies supported by plans and procedures that involve multiple intervention strategies in deploying favorable safety and security policies that have positive business impact and workforce involvement.
